Marine Partnership

A partnership with Mote Marine Laboratory is set to bring together faculty and scientists for a new, marine science-based initiative focused on research and education.
Under the agreement, USFSM will complete the buildout of classrooms and teaching labs on Mote's Sarasota campus, including dry teaching labs, wet teaching labs, research labs and lab and academic support rooms.
MBA for Veterans

A program for military veterans interested in pursuing a master's degree in business administration is being launched by USFSP's College of Business.
The two-year program will be funded through a $409,299 grant from the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), part of $7.1 million awarded by the GMAC MET Fund to 12 organizations worldwide.
